Book and library lovers, don’t despair, there are lots of ways to get your read on this summer!

Join Mesa County Public Library as they kick off their summer reading program, “Own the Night.” Listen to local indie band Dreamboat, and have fun tie-dying on the front lawn. If you would like to tie-dye, some items will be available to dye, but please feel free to bring your own material. If you LOVE to read, you should consider joining the Bistro Book Group.  Teens in the Bistro Group read Advanced Reader’s Copies (ARCs) of books not yet published and write reviews for the Bistro Book Club Blog.  They are one of the 15 book clubs in the nation that has been chosen to nominate books for the American Library Association’s “Teens Top Tens” list.

Are comic books, Anime and Manga your thing?  Come hang out with other teens who share your love.  With special guests or featured topics every month, the focus of the Graphic Novel Club is the creation of graphic novels, but it also functions as a book club.  Discuss the latest and greatest in the graphic novel world.
